Support the E.C. Scranton Library and Make a Difference in the Town of Madison.

Parade of Parties is a town-wide celebration and fundraising effort for the E.C. Scranton Library. Funds are raised through a series of parties and events hosted by Madison residents as well as through corporate and individual sponsors.

Since the Scranton Library is not fully funded by local taxes, fundraising efforts such as Parade of Parties play an essential role in supporting the library’s current programs and providing funds for special projects and technological advances.

In recent years the “Parade of Pooches” has been one of the most successful parties, raising thousands of dollars. In 2005, Parade of Parties gave $66,000 to the library which was used to expand the library’s programs and services, add to its collection of bestsellers, DVDs, books on CDs, and the audio library for adults and children.

Everyone in Madison can get involved in Parade of Parties, have fun, and make a difference to the town! You can have a party for kids, grown-ups, even pets! The only limit is your imagination.
