At the heart of the Parade of Parties are the fabulous parties and other creative activities that make this fundraiser so unique. Some great events of previous years included a progressive dinner party, a children’s beach party, couples tennis or golf parties, a neighborhood tag sale, a bird watching breakfast, and extreme bowling. In earlier years, close to 1,500 people attended parties given by 47 hosts. Every party is important!

How it works to be a party host:

1. Decide what kind of party or activity you would like to host. The party can be formal or informal, large or small. Or, it doesn’t need to be a “party” at all, but can be an ongoing activity such as a weekly book club, an outing such as golf, or getting a group together for a “day of beauty” ! Just about anything can be part of Parade of Parties!

2. Invite your guests and tell them that you are having a Party for the library.

3. As the host, you set the amount to be donated. You collect from your guests and turn the money over to the library
